Widget reference

This is the full list of widgets you can put on a scene, so you can tell them apart before you place one.

Overlays and scenes8 min readUpdated October 12, 2026

Every widget works two ways. Drop it onto a scene alongside everything else and the whole layout runs as one OBS browser source, or take it on its own URL and give it a source of its own. It is the same widget, but a single-widget URL always shows the widget's default look. To change a widget's text, colours or behaviour, place it on a scene and use the scene's URL.

A single widget's own address is https://pulz.bio/yourname/o?type=chat, swapping in the ?type= value listed against each widget below. You do not have to build it by hand - open Overlays in your dashboard, expand Single widgets, and copy the one you want. Those URLs do not carry your overlay key, so widgets that show tips (Alerts, Event Feed, Labels, Goal Bar, Stream Recap) need &k= added by hand.

How to read this

  • Starts at is the size a widget gets in its default mode on a 1920x1080 artboard; a few widgets resize themselves when you switch mode. It is a starting point, not a limit - resize it to whatever your layout wants, and on a smaller artboard it is scaled down to fit when you add it.
  • Needs a permission means Twitch does not hand that data to a plain connection. Select the widget in the editor and press Grant on Twitch in the notice at the top of its settings - the widget starts filling in on its own. Until then it renders, but with nothing real in it, which is why a goal bar sitting at zero is almost always a missing permission.
  • Needs a connected Twitch account means the base connection is enough, with no extra permission.
  • A widget with no line about permissions can still read your chat or your schedule, so it needs the channel it reads from to be connected. Multistream Chat also reads Kick and YouTube, and Heart Rate needs a HypeRate ID.

FAQ

Can I use the same widget twice on one scene?

Yes. Each copy keeps its own settings - two goal bars tracking different things, or two tickers with different messages, are perfectly normal.

My goal bar or label is stuck at zero.

It is missing either the Twitch connection or one of the permissions listed above. Select the widget in the editor: the notice at the top of its settings names what it is waiting for, and Grant on Twitch asks for it.

Do my old single-widget browser source URLs still work?

Yes. Every ?type= URL still resolves, including the retired ones - a sub goal or follower goal URL now answers with the goal bar, and a starting soon or BRB URL answers with the scene card. Nothing in your OBS needs touching.

Why can a widget be resized so far without breaking?

Widgets size their text and spacing from their own box, so one definition holds from a 300px counter to a full-screen scene. The Chat group is the deliberate exception: its text stays a real pixel size, so a taller box fits more messages rather than magnifying them.

Scenes and single-widget URLs both live under Overlays.
